After the tvOS 18 update Peacock and my Apple TV just aren’t working together anymore

I have restarted Apple TV.

I have updated the software.

I haven’t changed any other settings and it used to work fine.

The shows from peacock don’t come up on “continue watching” anymore I just have to go to the app. If they do come up they have “Bravo” or “SyFy” app as the default. It doesn’t recognize Peacock as being on AppleTV.

Peacock is not showing up there.

If the Peacock TV app is installed on that Apple TV box, then it should show in Settings as a connectable app. Even regardless of using that app, being signed in for that app, or subscribing to that service.


I have also noticed since the 18 update the up next does not update.

That is probably a separate issue.

Verify that Use Play History is (still) activated.

Else try signing out for your Apple Account, then immediately sign in again.
