Missing FaceTime option on some contacts!

I have an iPhone 13 Pro and on a couple of my contacts the FaceTime option won't highlight or work! I've used it plenty of times before as it's the contact for my grandchildren! Changed on the last update...ios 17.4.1 Can anyone help me get this option back???

I was having the same problem. I did fix it but I'm not 100% sure how :) first I did open the contact in the facetime app and scrolled through. Then I opened the contact through text, clicked on info, edited contact info and changed the phone from "home" to "iphone" and once I reopened the contact everything was back to normal???

Hello Texsheva, Instead of Contacts Have you tried the FaceTime App and pressing the + sign in the To: line. This will open up Contacts and you can select the person you want to reach on FaceTime. Don't know if this will clear up the issue you're having not seeing an active FaceTime icon in contacts for the people you want to reach. Normally if you don't see or the FaceTime icon in contacts it means that person doesn't have an iPhone or AppleID.
