Home ‘cannot send invitation’

I’m unable to send an invitation to my wife to add her to our new HomePod/ Home app set up. Keeps saying ‘cannot send invitation’ and that her iCloud needs to be home enabled. I’ve spent hours going through all her settings - making sure we are both updated to the new iOS 16.5.1 and still nothing…

Home App Invite not working on 16.4 Hi before the update it had worked, my wife and I, had access to the house, all the automation etc all worked fine, after upgrading to 16.4 on all our devices…. I tried to invite when just had the TV apple, after each HomePod was re-add and after re-adding all the devices have removed one HomePod and reset it and removed from my iCloud account, the wife created her own house with that HomePod, to see if had any updates or prompts for architecture update, which it didn’t. Home app has everything up to date. I believe I have tried everything going to get this working and failed. she get the invite in all the time, hits accept and nothing happens…. But strangely if she invites me to her house, I don’t get the invite Anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance

Cannot accept Apple Home invitation Dear community, i got very strange problem: my wife gets error "Could not accept invitation" accepting one I sent to her. Both phones are iPhone X, iOS is 16, latest. We have AppleTV and HomePod, updated to latest versions. I restarted phones, AppleTV and HomePod several times, removed and re-added her account - also several times, signed off and on on her phone - also multiple times, nothing helped. Any help is more than appreciated, i'm desperate...

Cannot add a user to Home in iOS 16.3 Hello, I get the following error "you can add people using an icloud account email address with home enabled". Homepod Mini Version 16.3 iOS Version 16.3 Home is enabled in iCloud settings (Settings-> Name -> iCloud -> Apps Using iCloud , Show All -> Home) Tried everything that was found on Reddit, and Google. Nothing works! How do I fix this issue? Thanks,

This has now been fixed. We contacted apple support and they did aload of trouble shooting , eventually it turned out to be an iCloud account error with my wife’s account, we had to set up a new iCloud email address (only as a dormant account - didn’t change her actual email associated to her account) and then sent the invitation to that new email account and Bob’s your uncle, Fanny’s your aunt- we’re in!
