Apps Not Updating Automatically

Hi there.

I am currently using an iPhone 13 Pro Max on iOS 16.5.1, I have noticed that for some time now, Apple automatic app updates have not been working as they used to. However I am now at a point where I can refresh the app update list manually and find 47 app updates in just a few days. Therefore this is starting to affect how I feel about iOS negatively.

I have recently set up my iPhone as a brand new iPhone (with the aim to remove any bugs from the software installed), I have checked that automatic updates are turned on, I have checked that my wi-fi is not in low data mode, I have given iOS permission to use mobile data whenever it needs to (its set to always allow) and I have made sure I’m not in low power mode (I hate the refresh rate drop that becomes visible anyway so never use it). I have 65gb of free storage so that’s not an issue either.

If anyone knows of other settings I can check or adjustments to make to help remedy this I would be very grateful.
