Automatic app updates not working

Even though I have the settings on, none of my apps update automatically I have to go into the App Store and manually refresh the list and select “update all”. I’m using and iPhone 13 with iOS 16.1.1

I’m always connected to strong wifi and if I’m not, my data is always on and strong.

Apps Not Updating Automatically Hi there. I am currently using an iPhone 13 Pro Max on iOS 16.5.1, I have noticed that for some time now, Apple automatic app updates have not been working as they used to. However I am now at a point where I can refresh the app update list manually and find 47 app updates in just a few days. Therefore this is starting to affect how I feel about iOS negatively. I have recently set up my iPhone as a brand new iPhone (with the aim to remove any bugs from the software installed), I have checked that automatic updates are turned on, I have checked that my wi-fi is not in low data mode, I have given iOS permission to use mobile data whenever it needs to (its set to always allow) and I have made sure I’m not in low power mode (I hate the refresh rate drop that becomes visible anyway so never use it). I have 65gb of free storage so that’s not an issue either. If anyone knows of other settings I can check or adjustments to make to help remedy this I would be very grateful. many thanks in advance!

iPhone apps not updating automatically anymore Since I upgraded to 16 my iphone and ipad apps are no loner updating automatically despite everything I have tried (the obvious stuff of course). Is anyone else having the same problems?

automatic app updates So I’ve hit a wall with this problem. The App Store on my iPhone 14 pro running iOS 16.5.1 will not automatically download app updates. I have to manually go into the App Store and check & install them. I’ve tried multiple things such as obviously making sure automatic downloads are on, making sure low power mode is off, be connected to strong Wi-Fi. Am I possibly missing anything?
