iPhone 15 call defaulting to Bluetooth hearing aids instead of phone or speaker

I have a 1 SIM iPhone 15. When answering a call, it always defaults to my bluetooth hearing aids. How to make it default to phone or speaker setting?

This happens on receiving a call and often when I'm dialing out. The line defaults to the bluetooth hearing

aids (Phonak P90 Virtu). I want to default to either speaker or phone. How do I switch? Thanks

Try checking the settings on the iPhone by going to: Settings >Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing >

See if Audio Routing is set to your Hearing aids, and if so, change that..

Then, to direct the audio: See Apple support's article: While on a call on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg says:

"When you’re on a phone call on iPhone, you can switch the audio to the speaker or a Bluetooth® device.

Adjust the audio during a call

To change the volume, press the volume buttons on the side of iPhone. Or swipe down on the call banner, then do any of the following:

  • Mute: Tap the Mute button.
  • Put the call on hold: Touch and hold the Mute button.
  • Talk handsfree: Tap the Audio button, then choose an audio destination." (Eg: speaker or Hearing-Aids)
