Apple Music song not available for my country/region on iPhone
So this error loves to pop up on me for songs that I own, and for no particular reason. One day, without doing anything out of the ordinary, I'll get the "this song is not available in your country or region" error. This has been an ongoing issue for a little over a year now and it's getting to the point where I'm starting to get angry. Yes, I've set my region to the US under my apple account. Yes, these are songs that I own in a regular MP3 format stored locally on my computer (PC). No, these aren't exotic songs or anything of the sort. No, none of these songs are locked by DRM since I ripped them using iTunes from a CD.
The fix that I've had to do in the past was completely delete/remove my entire music library and then re-add it. This is about 100Gb and my computer is a potato, so this takes quite a bit of time. So I'm getting a bit frustrated and now it's turned into anger. The recent iOS 18.5 update had an error and all of my photo albums were deleted and on top of now randomly getting the "this song is not available in your country or region" error. So in my anger and frustration, I factory defaulted my iPhone and now on the resync where it should be adding my pictures and music it seems like over 80% of my songs are giving me the "this song is not available in your country or region" error.
This is getting on my last nerve. I'm in the process of removing and re-adding all my music again to see if this corrects the error. But my question is this... WHY? I've made a post about having this issue in the past and I can never get an answer as to WHY this happens. I want an answer. Because if I can get an answer then maybe there's something I can correct. So please, tell me why this is happening. I'll be more than happy to answer all questions and give any needed details.
