Apple Music song not available for my country/region on iPhone

So this error loves to pop up on me for songs that I own, and for no particular reason. One day, without doing anything out of the ordinary, I'll get the "this song is not available in your country or region" error. This has been an ongoing issue for a little over a year now and it's getting to the point where I'm starting to get angry. Yes, I've set my region to the US under my apple account. Yes, these are songs that I own in a regular MP3 format stored locally on my computer (PC). No, these aren't exotic songs or anything of the sort. No, none of these songs are locked by DRM since I ripped them using iTunes from a CD.

The fix that I've had to do in the past was completely delete/remove my entire music library and then re-add it. This is about 100Gb and my computer is a potato, so this takes quite a bit of time. So I'm getting a bit frustrated and now it's turned into anger. The recent iOS 18.5 update had an error and all of my photo albums were deleted and on top of now randomly getting the "this song is not available in your country or region" error. So in my anger and frustration, I factory defaulted my iPhone and now on the resync where it should be adding my pictures and music it seems like over 80% of my songs are giving me the "this song is not available in your country or region" error.

This is getting on my last nerve. I'm in the process of removing and re-adding all my music again to see if this corrects the error. But my question is this... WHY? I've made a post about having this issue in the past and I can never get an answer as to WHY this happens. I want an answer. Because if I can get an answer then maybe there's something I can correct. So please, tell me why this is happening. I'll be more than happy to answer all questions and give any needed details.

I picked up the same issue when I upgraded from MY iPhone 12 to a 16. Most playlists that used to work and songs I purchased from the iTunes store started giving me the same error. Worst of all is that I do have Apple music family plan. What is the purpose of signing out of Apple Music?

It didn't work, I had the same issue after removing all my music, signing out of apple music, and then adding everything back.

Not to get off topic, but this has me curious as to how this error happens. Music that's not bound by DRM that is from an American band that I ripped from a CD using iTunes is now possibly thinking that it's outside the region? So this has me thinking, why would music that originates via an MP3 from a computer have any type of region tagged to it? Why would this matter to begin with because I like music from all over the world so how can something be blocked in my "region"? Why would this be something apple is monitoring or even have as a feature or security measurement? There's just so many questions I have because this seems quite intrusive, unnecessary, and is giving off ulterior motive vibes. Need I mention the why of it all when it seems to randomly happen? I want data logs, I want policy, I want some sliver of reason for why this is happening. Because if the answer isn't good enough, then I'll happily move to another device. My wife and I have been using apple devices since 2010 and things have been seeming to go in the wrong direction at the company. So this is kinda the last straw for me. And mind you, this was never an issue until iOS 17, so this was something that was put into place in the last few years.

Sorry to vent, I'm just a wee bit frustrated.

But I've never subscribed to apple music. I've just used my iPhone as an mp3 player and I have album covers disabled and anything where it looks for things based on my music disabled. I'm not going to subscribe to spotify or anything of the sort because I have the mp3's locally and I build out playlists that the phone simply needs to play. I feel ya on the bug stuff though, but this entire thing looks like a bigger can of worms in terms of why is it doing anything with regions or trying to implement something like a DRM onto songs uploaded to the device? It seems borderline nefarious and very intrusive.
