How can I fix error "This item is not currently available in your country or region"?

Just purchased 3 CDs and loaded them onto my computer. When I tried synching them onto my iPhone I get the following message for all the songs "This item is not currently available in your country or region." Since I bought the CDs, I don't know why my country or region should matter. But, my region is the United States and I purchased the CDs in the US.

Also, I don't want to subscribe to any service nor use the Cloud. I feel that if I purchase the CD I should be able to load the songs on my computer and phone, and listen to the music without doing either of these things.

SravanKra. Thanks for the feedback, but I don't see how this addresses my problem. I have managed to synch my songs onto my iPhone, but I'm getting an error message ("This item is not currently available in your country or region") which stops me from playing the music on my iPhone. I can play the music on my computer without a problem and I have thousands of songs on my iPhone that previously were synched and still play fine. Various websites indicate the problem has to do with my iPhone's region, but it is the US so I don't see why this would be the issue.

Which process did you use to get the Music on your CD to your iPhone's Apple Music?

Do you have Apple Music or iTunes Match Subscription?

iTunes Match gives you access to all of your music on all of your devices, even songs that you've imported from other sources such as CDs.

Subscribe to iTunes Match

See the process below

  • Mac Book Air Retina 13" macOS
  • iPhone SE 1st Gen:- Does not use iCloud Library
  • iPhone 6 :- use iCloud Music Library

This is two a Step Process (To sync music from this computer, turn off Cloud Music Library)

  1. Apple Music: Import music (MP3) to Apple Music Library on Mac
  2. Finder: Sync between Apple Music on Mac and iPhone

Watch the GIF for the complete process

To sync music from this computer, turn off Cloud Music Library.

Watch the same GIF as a QT movie file uploaded by me on YouTube:- Transfer MP3 Music from Mac (Catalina) to iPhone (iOS13.3)
