Why is my iPhone 12 Pro stuck in recovery mode?
Repost as my original was removed because I accidentally posted the same response twice:
I connected my iPhone 12 Pro to my windows laptop through the Apple Devices app. It said that there was an update available so I selected that. An error message said that the update couldn’t be installed (unknown error (75). 067E.004B) and I needed to restore. I clicked on that and got an error message saying it couldn’t be restored (unknown error occurred (1109).06B4.0000). The phone then stuck with the Apple logo so I forced restart and was left with the recovery screen (ie a picture of a cable and a laptop.) This prompts Apple devices app to say that the phone can’t be updated and must be restored and the whole process repeats and fails again. Someone in the community suggested retrying after removing any security software including Defender but that didn’t work. Then that I put the phone in DFU mode. When I did that Apple Devices app required the restore process which failed giving the 1109 error noted above. What else can I do? Thank you.
