Apple Pay randomly stopped working

The card in my wallet was not expired. The billing address is exactly like my iCloud card on file (they are the same and show “Linked to Apple Pay”). There are no other cards in my wallet.

I have removed the card and re- entered numerous times. Manually and by scanning the card.

My IOS is updated.

I have a similar problem. I removed my debit card and can not put it back on my Apple Pay. The debit card works at the store but my Applepay doesn’t work. My phone is updated.

I turned the phone off and restarted it, nothing works Help please!!!

If it say declined, the bank declined the transaction and you’ll have to ask the banks support team for an explanation. If it said something other than declined, it’s a merchant or network issue.

Apple is not a bank and only sends encrypted data about the transaction. Neither the merchant or other parties involved have the key to decrypt the data. The bank decrypts the data and either approves or declines the transaction.

I hope that helps a little. The bank should see the transaction coming in and be able to explain the issue.
