Trouble updating Apple Pay

I received a notification saying my payment information needed to be updated because my card was "expired", even though it isn't. I have tried to update my Apple Pay card information, and even though my card is not expired, it says "information cannot be verified". I have tried doing this with two cards and neither of them work. How do I update my payment information?!
