Screen Time App Limits not working IOS 18.0.1

We have had an app time limit for our daughter's phone for years. After upgrading to 18.0.1, the time is running out without her even using the app. Seems like it is measuring wall clock time rather than app usage time. So she's constantly being told she doesn't have any time left and the app is restricted. Anyone figure out how to resolve this?

I set the limit, when I check the screen time I see the clock icon indicating that it is over time, yet the app is still working. Only happens with these two apps. Ongoing Screen Time issues with IOS17 I’d hoped that the new iOS upgrade would remedy the issues with screen time but alas not. The App Limit continuously disappears and so my daughter can spend hours on her phone unless I keep checking if the limit is still there. Is anyone else finding this? Why is it so difficult to get this working properly? 😫

Screen time and app limits My children’s iPads and phones used to have app limits and it used to work well. However, for a while now, I have found myself setting it up once and again and again as it just stops working without any reason. The Screen time and app limits is definitely malfunctioning or there must be a glitch that is preventing the app limits from working properly. Can this be fixed?
