My children’s iPads and phones used to have app limits and it used to work well. However, for a while now, I have found myself setting it up once and again and again as it just stops working without any reason. The Screen time and app limits is definitely malfunctioning or there must be a glitch that is preventing the app limits from working properly. Can this be fixed?

Thank you very much for your response. Sadly I have already done that many times but it does not work. It really seems to be a glitch or something like that. I have changed pass codes and set it up all again and again but the next day it is like if I have done nothing. It is really strange.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're using the guidance in Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support to set up app limits but it keeps getting changed.
Try changing your Screen TIme passcode and then monitor to see if the same thing happens again. Guidance for all devices can be found in If you forgot your Screen Time passcode - Apple Support.

I can second this. I have one of my son's phones that blocks apps as soon as I turn on any app limits. It thinks he's out of time even though he has used the phone for 30 mins and has 4hrs setup in app limits.
