Updated my iPhone 13 Pro Max to 17.5.1 and multiple applications no longer work on cellular (Verizon) but work on WiFi. My wife’s Pro Max was not updated and all applications work on cellular and WiFi. Anyone else having problems with 17.5.1 and cellular?

Switch it to LTE only. That is the only way to fix it per the Apple Store techs. Or you could switch to a s24 ultra and never worry about it again.
Do you use VPN? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile.
BTW, with 500 million iPhones (roughly) on 17.5.1, no matter what problem you have, there will be others with a similar problem. So what? How does knowing that help you?
Yes I am having the same issue. My calls are dropping in the middle of a conversation. Or I can't hear the person on the other end. Hopefully a fix will be pushed out asap.
same here :( i lost my cellular network and i cant update my iphone 12 to this newer version. i have no idea what to do!!
