In one of my iMessage group chats I am constantly seeing "you changed the group photo" when I have not made any changes to the group. No one has left or joined. We have had the group forever. Not sure why this message keeps popping up.

This has been happening to me for months! I don’t know why it does that. The funny thing is that when I take a screenshot and show others in the group, they don’t see that update.
one example is that I changed the name of a group thread and attached an image as a placeholder, and another friend subsequently updated both. But randomly for weeks some of my threads will post “[Name] named the conversation “[thread name]” or “You changed the group photo.” And while these might have been true at one point, it’s not a current adjustment.
I hope someone has a fix or Apple adjusts this glitch!
