groupchat photo changed notification

my friends and i are continuously getting a notification in our group chat saying that one of the group members has changed the photo. no one has altered it, and it’s been happening for a couple days. the two of them have updated their phones to 17.3, but my phone is on 17.2.1, and we are all having the issue. we don’t have to do anything for it to happen, it seems to happen every time we open the chat.
