If a hard restart doesn't work, it might be something else.

Learned this morning:

(1) Make sure the bank cancels the TOKEN related to that digital debit card. I had fraud on my account in December, and received a new debit card. Because the token was canceled for only ONE merchant, the token was moved from the old card to the new card and there was other fraudulent activity. (Maybe other banks don't do this; I bank at Chase.)

(2) If you haven't downloaded or logged in to your banking app on that phone, you should do that. This morning, my Chase debit card would not install on a second iPhone I use for work. I got an error that prevented me from adding the new card to my Apple Wallet. Once I logged into the app, my debit card was successfully added using the "+" in the Wallet.

One last thing... you don't have to delete the old card. While you're on the phone with the bank's Claims department, your compromised card will automatically get updated with the new card. I watched this in real-time during my call this morning.
