Apple Watch series 9 double tap

I updated my Apple Watch series 9, I do not see the hand gesture setting to use double tap feature? Unsure if this wasn’t released yet but have seen others using it.

Does Double Tap on Watch Series 9 not work for Timers? I have a new Series 9 Apple Watch, and have the Double Tap gesture turned on. When a Timer is done, I thought I'd be able to use Double Tap to turn the Timer done alarm off, but, it doesn't seem to work for that function. Do I need to do something else to make Double Tap work to turn off the Timer done alarm? I can't understand why it won't work for something like that? That's often when I need that gesture to work.
