iOS17 AirTag not sharing

Just updated our devices to iOS17 and find that I can share my AirTags with her however she cannot share hers with me. We repeatedly get the following error.

"this airtag couldn't be shared due to an unexpected error. Please remove this person and try sharing this AirTag again."

I run an iPhone 14 Pro max while she has the iPhone 13 Pro. All location settings are turned on and we are both within the same family sharing group.

Hi GC4217,

As sharing an AirTag is new with iOS 17, and you're receiving an unexpected error, we'd advise to contact Apple Support. They can look further into the error, so make sure to provide that message. Include that you were able to share a different AirTag with her, as that may help out.
