iPhone with iOS 16.6 in the Settings FaceTime icon is greyed out.

iPhone 8 plus with iOS 16.6, the FaceTime icon is greyed out in Settings. However, the Messages icon in the Setting is not greyed out. I have tried restarting the phone couple of times, and the OS is the up to date (iOS 16.6). I am on a reliable WiFi network and can use FaceTime directly from a message and the FaceTime app, but I can't change the Setting (See screenshot below). So how do I get the FaceTime icon in Settings to not be greyed out?

Hi ZagMatt,

If you are unable to use FaceTime, first check to make sure the feature is available to you by following If you can't make or receive a FaceTime call on your iPhone or iPad:

If you should have FaceTime available to you, as you are already up to date, continue to "If you still need help" at the bottom of that article.

Take care.
