My Ventura 13.3.1 update got stuck 2/3 of the way

Can anyone help

I have just installed OS 13.3.1 on my iMac M1....it has stuffed it, I had to do a clean install and when I pointed my home folder to my separate data disk it re booted part way and got stuck 2/3 of the way.... is it indexing (it's been 8 hours!!)

I have clean installed 3 times with the same result.
