FaceTime on iPhone 14 pro max gets disconnect in 2 mins

FaceTime works for 2 minutes then disconnects. I have xfinity internet with good speed and due to the software bug, I turned off my cellar during FaceTime calls, but still seeing issues with FaceTime getting chopped in 2 mins. I am using iPhone 14 pro Max. Previously I was using iPhone XS Max and I never had any issues with FaceTime (same Xfinity - internet speed).

I checked details with step #1 Wi-Fi connection and rest. Everything looks fine. I think the issue might have been resolved. I was by default using a 4G Wi-Fi option and few mins back I switched to 5G wi-fi option and with that I made a call to my folks and it lasted for 7 mins (till the end of the call). I will test it out during this week and confirm if it is resolved.

FaceTime and Cellular:

There is no 4G WiFi option. I think your are thinking of Cellular. Not sure how Cellular frequencies would play a role. Note that if you are in a location that only have 4G, then you will not get optimum use of 5G services.

"Hey so, I see 2 names in my Wi-Fi (Motorola router) MOTOXXX and MOTOXXX-5G. [...]May be the network names represent the connection type."

You Have a Dual-Band Modem/Router:

On your Motorola Modem, you are taking in the signal. The router part, broadcasts your SSIDs (the names of your networks). There is 2.4GHz and 5GHz. I would suspect hat that the "5G" in "MOTOXXX-5G" refers to the connection type. 2.4GHz is for WiFi-A and WiFi-N, whereas 5GHz is for WiFi-B and WiFi-G. This is apparently a dual-band router, meaning It broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. WiFi-AC is dual-band. So, any device with access to WiFi-AC is dual-band. This means that you can see all and SSIDs being broadcasted. Hope this explains it clearly.
