Facetime disconnecting active calls

Every that I get a facetime call that I choose not to pick or cancel, while I'm on another cellular, facetime or what's app call, the active call also disconnects. This clearly is not device specific, as I'm dealing with exactly the same issue on all my devices where I have facetime. This appears to be occurring only off late, I presume since I updated my devices to iOS 16. I wonder if there are others dealing with the same issue and if they have found any solution.

Hi there ajaygargnl,


Have you made sure your devices are running the latest version of iOS 16, which is iOS 16.3? You can check that in Settings > General > About > Software Version.


When these calls disconnect are you seeing any error alerts? Is your device connected to Wi-Fi, your cellular network, or both when this happens?


Are you muting or pausing your current call?
