Cannot resize the Preview Window width. Is there a way around this?

I am wondering why you are unable to resize the width of the preview window below ~22cm? It makes very little sense as you can resize the height to ~3cm. Is there some kind of setting you can access through the terminal to allow for a smaller width? Or something similar? At the very least I'm hoping for an explanation about WHY this nonsensical feature has been implemented as it appears it has been this way for over a decade. Why?

That wasn't the main point of the question. But thanks.

You're welcome.

No

No

FWIW, the minimum width varies depending on the size and resolution of the screen. My guess is the minimum size is to accommodate the markup toolbar.
