If I create a Family group in the Apple Passwords app and share it with my wife, then something happens to me, can she move those group passwords out of the shared group and into her own Password app?

Looking at Share passwords or passkeys with people you trust on iPhone - Apple Support I don't think it is exactly clear, but I think only the owner of the group will have the ability to move passwords out of the group. She would probably be in a position to copy the details of any password that she wanted access to before formally closing your account, if that is what you are thinking about.

I just tested this and though she has full access to all information in the login, she can't add it to her own Passwords app. She can delete it, though. That's strange.

I tend to agree with you, but if she is in the group and has access to the login credentials, it doesn't make sense to restrict her from moving it to her own logins. I guess I'll just try and find out...probably the only way to determine for sure.
