Unable to access shared 'Home' in Home app after updating to iOS 18.5

We finally updated to 18.5 and now I can no longer see my husbands version of our "home" so I cannot control any of our lights with home or Siri. We have a Phillips hub for the lights but now we need an Apple hub to work something that was working just fine before?????

Hi, I have a Hue bridge connected to few lights around my house and wasn’t using any home hubs (even tho I could on my iPad) Since I’ve upgraded to the new Home architecture I just got more issues from there.. Now when I tried to reconfigure the Bridge for the home app I got a message telling me I need a home hub. But I couldn’t configure my iPad to be one. Now I can’t control light from my Home app neither from the control center. Please help!

Emulated home hub not working So, when I looked at a support page, it said that we could use our iPad as a home hub. I tried that, but it did not work. It used to work, but when I got the home upgrade, and a new iPad, the feature was deleted.

Home App not updating Trying to update the home app and it refuses, saying I need a Home Hub, which I have and is connected. My partner managed to update their home app and now they cant see anything as it was shared from mine and until I manage to update it that will not be visible on her devices. I have re-booted everything, all devices running latest software, I am coming to conclusion that Home app is really poor, Apple support is poorer still and its all a waste of time. Why cant they build something that plain works, it seems to have so many bugs and conflicts If anyone has had the same issue and has a resolution, let me know Thanks

I have this problem too! I get invited to the home, accepted the invite: It shows up for less than a minute in the Home app and then the app 'resets' itself to the default "My Home" screen with no accessories. Oddly enough I am getting notifications about the 'invited -to-Home'.
