Emulated home hub not working
So, when I looked at a support page, it said that we could use our iPad as a home hub. I tried that, but it did not work. It used to work, but when I got the home upgrade, and a new iPad, the feature was deleted.

See Upgrade to the new Home architecture - Apple Support. With the new architecture iPad is no longer supported as a hub, and all devices that run the Home app need to be running iOS 16 or better, or macOS Ventura or better.
