How to add websites to safari task bar on iPad Air?
I’ve tried using the “share” icon which is the answer I found online, but there is no option to add it other than as a bookmark which is not what I want. Thanks in advance!

I don't know what a "task bar" is but you can add any website to the Home Screen. Perhaps you mean the Dock?
