Why can't I delete Safari suggestions on my iPad?

I have a number of shared links and website visited under “Suggestions” in Safari on my iPad. I managed to delete a few and then it stopped removing other links. I press and hold the link to get the drop down menu and then touch “remove link” but nothing happens. Help!

Safari Shared for you links won't remove So I have an issue where I can't remove the shared links under safari when I hold down on the link and click remove, it doesn't delete it. I know I can disable shared links completely for safari, but I still want that feature, but just want to get rid of those that I don't need.

safari won't open a favourites link My wife and I share the same apple ID and therefore we have the same favourites page on our safari browser. The problem is my wife cannot open one of the links while mine opens it just fine. I have cleared the history through settings and restarted the iPad however it still won't open the link.

How do I remove an auto-suggestion entry when searching from the Safari Search bar (iPhone) Hi, is it possible to remove auto-suggested websites from appearing when performing a web search using Safari on my phone (typing directly into the search bar) As soon as I press a single letter, the “unwanted” site appears (it is not stored as a bookmark btw) see pic for example.
