Missing Add Bookmark Option in Safari on mbp

I would like to add bookmarks to my Safari on mbp however when I click on the Share button, the add bookmark option is not available.

I've signed out of AppleID and rebooted all to no avail. I could add a bookmark on ipad with the same AppleID account
