Can switching FaceTime calls drain my iPhone battery?

Both are on the same icloud, and i have the option to switch the facetime call over to my phone, and i didn’t know if this would drain my phone battery.

Basically, I keep my iPad Pro (5th generation) on a FaceTime call with my brother while it’s charging, my iPad’s camera and microphone are turned on and my iPad is still on the FaceTime call, I wanted to keep the FaceTime call on for the rest of the night while the both of us are sleeping, but I was afraid my iPad was gonna die (battery), so I plugged in my iPad, Microphone and camera are still active, for the whole night (8hrs). The simplest way to find out would be to try it, and have a charger handy in case you notice excessive battery drainage.
