Gap Between Tabs and Pinned Tabs in Safari (M4 Pro, Sequoia 15.4.1)

Hello everyone,

A couple of months ago, I noticed a gap appearing between the pinned tabs and regular tabs in Safari. It’s quite annoying and affects the overall browsing experience.

Additionally, when clicking on the empty space where the gap is, the tabs still get activated.

Here’s a link to a video showing the issue: https://www.veed.io/view/e3afb4a6-ef47-4fdd-ad97-2a8cb6f6c3c3

Device: Mac Mini M4 Pro

OS: macOS Sequoia 15.4.1

Browser: Safari (latest version)

Has anyone encountered the same issue? Are there any solutions or workarounds to remove this gap?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I just upgraded to MacOS Sequoia 15.5 and the gap is gone. It must have been a bug in Safari in MacOS Sequoia 15.4.1. Happy days!
