How do I fix an unresponsive Apple TV remote without other Apple products?

I've tried all the suggestions on getting my apple tv box remote to work again. Nothing does it. I have no other Apple products, just the box. The remote is fully charged (no batteries), the light is on and now I can't access TCM/PBS, etc. All the things i loaded b4 I had a smart TV. The instructions to find which model i have doesn't work either since it says Samsung- which is my TV, not my box. Help

Nope. Didn't work. Neither did restarting/unplugging or turning the TV off. And the remote is fully charged

Very strange, not much more I can suggest without using another Apple product unfortunately the only way would be to get in touch with Apple as there is only one way to reset the remote as described above and failing that I’m pretty stuck.

Did you try Restarting Apple TV ? Do that, test again and also see: If the volume buttons on your Apple TV remote aren't working

To reset your Apple TV Siri Remote, you can press and hold the TV/Control Centre and Volume Down buttons at the same time. That should resolve the issue it happened on mine.
