How do I fix automatic updates not working on iPhone 15 Pro Max?

Have had auto update switched on for infinity. Suddenly with my current iPhone 15promax it stopped updating automatically. I have to manually go and update apps along with software updates. Very frustrating. Anyone else find a solution to this issue? It doesn’t look to be a “current” issue for anyone.
