for over a year now i have not been able to select an album when browsing for a photo to upload to a website etc, i am forced to scroll through my entire library when i should be able to just select the album and quickly find the photo i need, does anyone have a solution for this as ive seen another post also where no solution was reached and comments were turned off

I'm guessing that you are referring to using Safari and trying to use the "Media" picker to load a picture from your Photos Library to a web site-- is that correct? I'm familiar with this on the Mac, but I don't ever upload pictures from my phone, so I'm not sure if that's what you mean.
For a Mac, at least, what you are describing is a crazy behavior of the media picker that's been going on for two years, and no one knows why. The Media Picker's search field works well so, rather than scroll through the whole Library, I sometimes just enter relevant stuff into the search field. On my Mac, if I need to upload a picture to a website, I often first save the picture from Photos to my files, and then I load from there. This would be more awkward, I think, on a phone.
If this is the problem, then your best bet is to let Apple know what you think (in a friendly way, of course) here:

I have no problems selecting any of my albums in Photos on my iPhone, browsing them, and selecting a photo to upload or otherwise share. Can you please explain in more detail what you're seeing, or not seeing as the case may be, or what is going wrong in the Photos app that's causing you to have problems?

yes thats exactly what i mean , i run my own business and have thousands of photos and sometimes im talking to a customer and they ask to look at an example etc then i can spend 20 mins scrolling through all my library trying to find it instead of just going to the direct album that it used to do ages ago, yes i can copy them over onto the hard drive etc and do it that way but its stupid having to do that when the feature used to be there and they removed it and made life so much more complicated as if im not busy enough lol
