Apple Devices App doesn't recognize ANY of my apple devices on my PC

I'm having issues with the Apple Devices App on my Windows 11 PC. The App does not recognize ANY of my multiple Apple devices. I can see the devices on my PC under "My Computer." I've tried all the usual recommendations: 1) I am using a genuine Apple cord. 2) I have used multiple USB ports. 3) My apple devices and PC are running the latest hardware 4) I have uninstalled/reinstalled the Apple Devices App, 5) I have rebooted my PC and all Apple devices.

Any other ideas? Apparently this is a common is a common issues judging by the blistering reviews of the app on the Microsoft store. Help!

I had the same issue first time I added Apple Devices app, but what I found out is that in order to use it, you must also download Apple Music and Apple TV apps to be able to use and manage it. When I did, Apple Devices will recognize your phone or device. But to be honest I didn’t like how you have to use three different apps to manage one device. I was able to backup but lost my original music playlists, although transferred to Apple Music and never figured out how to move it back over. I tried to get help here but only got pointed back to iTunes. It was so much trouble I ended up uninstalling the new apps and just went back to iTunes since I was using it before and is much more intuitive and user friendly. Supposedly iTunes will phase out but until then im sticking with iTunes. That’s just my suggestion. Good luck
