Printing issue from iPhone to Epson printer
since upgrading my phone, I’ve been unable to print from it on my Epson printer. It is recognising the printer but that’s it. No print. Anyone got any suggestions?

Update the printer firmware to current, and reset the printer.
Update the Wi-Fi router firmware to current as well, and restart the Wi-Fi router.
Test again.
If those two resets and restarts fail to resolve this, factory reset the printer, and reconfigure it.
If that all fails to resolve this, contact Epson support.
If you want anyone else to look into this around here, please post the complete model name of the particular printer.
I’ve found that AirPrint can indeed be maddeningly frustrating to troubleshoot as it has few — if any — “traditional” user-accessible print-connection settings.
As you’ve seemingly exhausted the “standard” steps, have you tried the “nuclear option” …
… completely uninstalling and then [re] installing as a new printer ?
Worth a try if you have not already done this:
The standard first troubleshooting step would be to power off your iPhone, power off the printer, wait a minute, then power up the printer and let it run for a minute, then power up the iPhone.
Next step would be to check with Epson support to verify that they have updated their firmware for iOS 18.2
A simple power-off restart of my AirPrint printer solved a similar problem last week.
YMMV.
ET-2800. Says connection issue in the epson print app, all recommended solutions tried and failed, theyre on the same wifi, it worked for a year up until tonight when it says communicating with printer and just circles endlessly. Wont print from the app, email, or photos. Have full signal, wifi connected, everything up to date and restarted rebooted. At my wits end with this.
To confirm, did you reset the printer itself? Some printer vendors have implementation errors (certificate errors) that cause the printer to work for some amount of time such as for a year, and then fail, and the reset (which is basically the same as a fresh install for the printer itself) resolves this for the upcoming year or three or whatever, or until the printer firmware is fixed.
