Using special symbols from downloaded font

I downloaded a font which contains text and icons. How can I use those icons in Pages?

Apple Chancery font I have Pages 12.2.1 and I see the font in the All Fonts folder but I do not know how to get it into My Fonts I tried an earlier forum on this but my version is newer

Can you see the font in the Font Book app? Do you see the icons in Repertoire when you double click on its name?
