iOS 18.2 Image Playground Missing on iPhone 16 Plus

Follow the below step for UAE users.

**Settings:**

- Click on your name.

- Select “Media and Purchases” and view your account.

- Next, select “Country and Region” and change to the United States or any other country that supports Apple Intelligence.

**Note:** If you have a subscription, you must cancel it and wait until the subscription period ends.

I had this problem too, on my 16 Pro. Turns out that Playground is embedded within Freeform (at least it was, in mine). Open Freeform, add a board, add an image to the board (bottom right corner) and you should see a menu pop up, giving you options like Insert from, Link, Scan etc. Playground appears on that menu and clicking it will open up the familiar Playground interface.

Are you in the EU? Was your phone purchased in or manufactured for the China Market?

Have you ensured you are not in a country where Apple Intelligence isn't available, like the EU? Are you in China, or was your phone manufactured for the China Market? Have you gone through this link and made sure if you aren't in the EU or China or your phone wasn't made for China, that you have changed your language and Siri language to a supported language --> How to get Apple Intelligence - Apple Support (CA)

for those who still hasn't found a solution, we had the same problem and finally found a solution. It's a glitch. We did a "reset all settings" (which erases all settings like wifi logins and everything you did to customize and personalize your phone like ringtones, notifications, wallpaper, keyboard/privacy/display settings)... don't worry, your data should be safe...as long as you don't choose the "erase all content and settings". Once your phone reboots, turn on your Apple Intelligence in settings...and the Image Playground app should just in the homescreen. That's what happened to us. Hope this works for you coz it worked for me. :)

This worked for me. As I also didn’t get the image playground after update. Pop up the keyboard and switch to emoji keyboard and in the right side you can see a emoji face click that and it will download and set the image playground.

I have this problem too. I went to Apple Store and talked to geniuses, it seems to be a bug in iOS 18.2. The way I resolved was to Reset all settings in my iPhone but not ERASE your iPhone. Hope this will work for those who won’t work at this moment.

Change Language to US or UK with the Region
