I updated my iPhone 16 Plus to iOS 18.2 when it was released today. I went looking for Image Playground to get on the waiting list, but the app is not installed on my phone. I updated my 5th gen iPad Air at the same time and image playground installed as expected. Has anyone else experienced this?

Follow the below step for UAE users.
**Settings:**
- Click on your name.
- Select “Media and Purchases” and view your account.
- Next, select “Country and Region” and change to the United States or any other country that supports Apple Intelligence.
**Note:** If you have a subscription, you must cancel it and wait until the subscription period ends.

It's usually not the updates fault. Do you qualify for Apple Intelligence, meaning if your live in the EU or your phone was manufactured for the China Market, it won't have access to Apple Intelligence currently. Also have you set your language AND Siri language to one of the supported languages.

In the phone reboot after update tap on set up now not set up later. It will set up in the background and prepare your phone
I have an M1 MacBook Pro running macOS 15.2, and it includes Image Playground.
However, my iPhone 15 Pro and iPad Pro M1, both running iOS 18.2, do not have Image Playground, and it is also not available in the App Store.

Still it wont work cause you need to have apps store ID registered in US.
It does, but still has a message that the app requires features not available on this phone. iPhone 14 Pro Max

That's right, you don't. iPhone 14 is not capable of running Apple Intelligence. If you want Image Playground and the Apple Intelligence features, you need an iPhone with 8GB of Ram. That means iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max or any iPhone 16 model.
Same here. When I got the App Store and navigate to image playground, only option is “Open” but when I click on it, it just says “Apple Intelligence Required. Open the Image Playground App to join the Image Creation waitlist. Go to Settings.”
I have Apple Intelligence turned on, and when I open the Image Playground app to try to join the waitlist, it just gives me the same message, with no way to join the waitlist.

It cannot work because it is blocked on the App Store. Even using a link showing a message that says it is not available on your country…
Apple intelligence will be available from 15 Pro, 15 PM and 16 onwards if I remember correctly.
I also didn’t get it but when I looked it up it said that apple intelligence will come in the next few months via updates
I’m very disappointed.
ive moved to iPhone and since I bought it, I always watch a YouTube previews about the iOS,
most of the good stuff does not work and not available on my iPhone 16 pro max or not supported on my area. 2000€ for my phone, 4000€ for my Mac, and nothing works. It is just a simple system like other compaction brands.
Download image playground in the app store, search for "playground." Chat GPT is in the Apple Intelligence & Siri menu toward the middle. Tap ChatGPT to access the menu to turn it on and other options. This menu also lets you download ChatGPT as a separate application. This is contingent on you having an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16.
