I have two Mac mini computers. On one computer, I watch a video on YouTube with automatic translation and the language I want enabled, and the subtitles appear normally, while on the other computer, with the exact same settings in the browser and on YouTube, at the same exact moment, the subtitles do not appear in the same video. Is there a problem with the operating system?

No there is no problem with the Operating System unless of course it has been damaged or modified. This most often occurs when the following types of third party apps have been installed:
• Antivirus Apps
• Cleaning Apps
• Security Apps
• VPN Apps
• Maintenance Apps
If that sounds like what may be the issue please locate the developers uninstall instructions for the third party app(s) and follow to the letter. Then restart the Mac in Safe Mode and then restart normally and test.
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, despite reinstalling, the problem remains. On a Mac Mini, a YouTube video displays subtitles by selecting automatic translation and selecting the language I want, while on another Mac Mini, with all the same settings and the same accounts, the subtitles do not appear. This happens from time to time, but it returns at some point on its own. Maybe I should ask YouTube support why this can happen. I'm just surprised that it happens on one machine and not on the other...... and thanks again for the response. I don't want to keep you busy, but the problem will resolve itself at some point.
