I’m not a fan of the new update and need help. On my iPad, the method turn it off relayed under “learn more” isn’t possible. There is no “Apple Intelligence” button in the specific “Apple Intelligence and Siri” menu I’m supposed to toggle it off in. I would like to completely turn this off and disable Siri as I have done in the past.

I feel exactly the same way, I did not ask for Apple Inteligence, I do not want it, there is no button and Allow Siri when locked is grayed out. I do not want Siri, never used it before but most of all, I do not want Apple Intelligence. so how do I uninstall it?
And the latest Update seems to be creating a lot of non-stopping downloads, some say for 15 hours?

Don't turn it on. It is off by default so you would not have it unless you turned it on. To turn Siri off, under Liston For, just make sure it is off. If Siri is turned off, you cannot allow it while locked.

No problem with the update here, it took about 30 minutes. Some people say a lot of things, don't let them convince you the earth is flat.
