PLEASE tell me how to get rid of Siri on my new iPad Pro! I use this device to work, not as a toy or to watch TV. I don't want all the "features" (bugs and annoying behaviors) Apple assumes I want. As others have noted, I can disable Siri on an app-by-app basis but, that takes forever, and the dratted thing comes back!

You can disable Siri Suggestions by disabling every option under "Before Searching", "Content From Apple", and "Suggestions From Apple" in Settings > Siri & Search.

You can restrict the ability to use Siri & Dictation altogether by going to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps and tapping "Siri & Dictation".
Does this stop Siri "suggestions" and other annoying additions that distract from the task at hand, too?
