I have updated my iPhone 16 pro to 18.1 and have changed the supported language to US English from UK English and there is no option to join the waitlist for Ai
I have tried doing a restart etc but no option is there and this is also the case with my IPad Pro M4
Any help and advice would be welcome

Yes its the 16 Pro and i changed the region to US from the UK
I have followed all instructions from various sources which are the same anyway
Change to US for the Region
Change to US for Siri language
And i have restarted more than a few times
Oh yay! I did it! I was missing the switching of the Language & Region setting- I thought I’d read somebody saying you didn’t need to switch that, but I have and now I’m on the waitlist 🥳
I didn't have to change the region, I only changed the language setting. My region stayed at UK. I didn't read that you must change the region in the link you provided.
I presume your device is compatible for AI use. Did you keep the region setting of UK? Have you tried restarting?
Could you please confirm the model number at: Settings - General - About - Model = ???

I assumed he set it to region UK because he had bought it in the UK.

Thank you, I found this out after I asked my question 😕 I’m a bit annoyed as it should be a UK model as that’s where it was purchased ☹️
Like Ping, I already changed the settings and there’s no waitlist option. I think Phil is right, that my phone’s model number means it’ll be much later that I’ll be able to get on the waitlist
