Every time I try to opem my mac mini I get a messageto try again in 3 hours. 3 hours later I get the same message...

My Mac mini will not open. I get a message every time I try to turn it on a get a message to try to boot it in 3 hours

Messages Freezing and forces Quit on M2 MacBook Air Over the past two weeks, my Messages app is glitching in a worsening way. It freezes, clocks (spinning rainbow wheel), and then ultimately forces me to quit the app. It started on Ventura, and I reinstalled MacOS. That didn't fix the problem. I booted up in safe mode, and it still did it. I have cleared the cache, but that does not work. I created a different user profile, per Apple's instructions, and the problem persisted. Upgrading to Sonoma seemed to work at first but then the problem reemerged. Lastly, I ran a hardware diagnostic and it came back fine. I have more than 380GB of space available, and the Activity Monitor maintains a green color in the memory panel. I don't know what else to do. Is anyone else having this problem?

Messages App continuously VERY slow to start and hangs throughout the session. MacBookPro M1, when I start messages app it takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes to start. Then it will allow a few characters to be typed then get the "Spinning wheel" for 2-5 minutes, most times I will get the Application Hung error, send to Apple?. I always choose send. I have tried all of the remedies, short of re-installing the OS I cannot afford to take the chance of data loss, the most critical is I cannot take the time to do a fresh re-install. This just started happening in the past couple of months. No new software or hardware has been added, save Monterey OS updates. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

How do I fix Messages app freezing and shutting down on MacBook Air When I open the message app on my MacBook Air, It freezes as soon as I hit a button or within a few seconds it shuts back down and then it ask for my username/password again. I enter it and again the same thing over and over. Popup menu Message... (iMessage unable to send). This is what the popup menu says...(iMessage needs to be enabled to send this message.) Because it times out I'm unable to make any changes. My system is a MacBook Air M2 2022, w/macOS 15.3.1 Please help!

Ca you try another Keyboard?

I’d get a cheap USB KB & Mouse...

Windows Win key = Mac CMD key or ⌘

Windows alt key = Mac Option key or ⌥, also called alt key on Mac sometimes.

What happens if you shut down completely, wait 30 seconds and relaunch ?

Have you tried a wrong (forgotten) password several times??
