iPhone 14 Pro iOS 18.0.1 charging issues

ios 18.0.1 seems to have broken charging on my iphone 14 pro. did not have this issue after ios 18 update. Ipad mini running ios 18 does not have this issue. same charger and same charging cable.

iPhone XR Not Charging Properly After iOS 18.2 Update After updating my iPhone XR to iOS 18.2, I encountered an issue with charging. Every time I need to charge my phone, I must first shut it down and then connect it to the charger. If I plug the phone into the charger without turning it off, it refuses to charge. I did all troubleshooting steps. Prior to resetting my phone, it would not recognize any chargers. Now it will only recognize off brand chargers and one wireless device. It will not charge on any apple chargers. It’s extremely frustrating.

Had the opposite experience with a 14 Pro. I just updated to 18.0.1 and it resolved my issue with wireless charging (e.g., wireless charging was not working) from iOS 18.
