Just purchased AirPods Pro 2 and wanted to use them as an additional hearing aid. iPhone has been updated to iOS 18 but when I go to the AirPods menu, there is no option to have them give me a hearing test. Is this not available yet? If so, where can I find that option.

It's WILD that my friend in NZ can do the test, but I'm in Australia and it's not available for me lmao
At one time I had heard it was going to be in 18.4
I was using hearing Test by using this link but it's not working since 2 weeks.
I think they have removed the hearing Test feature for countries which haven't gotten license for Hearing Test.
I’m running 18.2 on my iPhone16 and it showed the hearing test was available,I tried it and it worked .
18.3 is available but I haven’t installed it yet .

Health Canada has granted approval as of December 2024 but Apple still claims regulatory issues. Why hasn’t Apple released this in Canada?

Yes, I have iPod pro 2, my phone and iPad have been updated to latest software and my iPods to latest firmware but the Hearing Test and Hearind Aid don’t show up.

Sorry for the late reply, and sorry the answer is no, the hearing aid function is not available with AirPods (not pro).
