Just purchased AirPods Pro 2 and wanted to use them as an additional hearing aid. iPhone has been updated to iOS 18 but when I go to the AirPods menu, there is no option to have them give me a hearing test. Is this not available yet? If so, where can I find that option.

In order to use the hearing test and hearing aid function, three things must be true.
I was told that this would work in Australia as well.
I already updated to 7B19 and it still doesn’t have hearing aid test.
Still doesn’t work for me in Canada even on 18.2

I’ve met all three, but still don’t have the hearing aid test on 2 seperate AirPod Pro 2’s that I have (lightning and USB-C).

I was able to use the link to take the hearing test, but the Hearing Health section still does not show up in my AirPods settings. Does anyone have a fix for that?
Same here. Maybe they released this before they were ready for prime time.
I wonder if Apple doing A/B testing with the Hearing Aid feature. Maybe factory resetting the iPad would make a difference, but I'd hate to do that just to end up back where I'm at right now.

They will as the various agencies in the different countries approve the use of the Airpods. Some have stricter rules than others.
