Siri stopped talking after iOS 18 update

Siri (IOS 18.2) has stopped replying to voice command instead it directly jumps to results, which creates confusion when using your mobile phone on AirPods

Having the same issue. I think the iOS 18 update is the problem

Everyone has had the same issue and Apple doesn't seem to wanna do anything about it but I'm sure they will address it after the new the biggest and best iphone ever is released

seems like everyone including myself is having this problem but i just don't see Apple fixing this anytime soon. just my opinion

i am forever in your debt simply bc she’ll now reply when i ask “siri where are you?” and i can find my lost effing iphone again

I was hoping with this latest update it would fix the issue with Siri, not repeating a text message before sending, but apparently it didn’t work

Did the re install change anything? Ive tried to no avail but i think its just the 16 as a model standing in my way rn
